What is a Tribal Cafe?
13 years ago in DC Mavi and Belladonna decided to provide the restaurant gigs that Tribal dancers were unable to get. The format became pretty standard and has been duplicated in many other cities throughout the years. There are four things that all Tribal Cafes have in common:
3. Always a small cafe type space with performers up close in “restaurant” type atmosphere that usually only cabaret dancers experience.
4. Price at the door goes to pay dancers.
5. Tips jars on tables for people tip there and not on the body.
